Is it the end of the month already? Must be time for some more updates...
Just two months into the Daily Doodle challenge and I'm starting to feel the burn! I've had a lot of work on this month, sometimes working 12-16 hours a day and then going on to try and come up with a new idea for a doodle ... it has been a real challenge! There have been a few days where I only just made it in time, uploading a rushed illustration at 10 to midnight. But the whole project is making me much quicker at illustrating and is forcing me to think on my feet creatively.
Due to popular demand on the Daily Doodle Facebook page, I'm excited to announce the launch of the Daily Doodle Online Gallery Shop where you can buy high quality, signed, limited edition prints from as little as 80p. You can check out the shop here: www.daily-doodle.com New prints are added to the shop every week, and if you see a piece of artwork that you'd like to buy, and it isn't available in the shop, please let me know by leaving a comment. If enough people want it, I'll get the prints made up and get them added to the shop. I'd like to give a special thank you to FolderPrinting.co.uk for supplying such high quality art prints.
Once again, I'd like to give a big fat thank you to everyone who has sponsored me, and to everyone who has supported me on this project so far, the donations, words of encouragement and help spreading the word has been very much appreciated! This month's special shout outs go to Creative Boom for continually publishing features about the project throughout the month and to PS.DESIGN who ran this lovely feature on me in their blog: http://bit.ly/ccCpwQ
Don't forget that you can show your support by sponsoring me on this creative marathon by making a donation of just £2 to the charity Shelter via the Just Giving fundraising page here: http://www.justgiving.com/DailyDoodle2010 Every little helps and I'm sure I don't need to tell you all about the fantastic work that Shelter do to help the homeless!
